Wastewater Projects

As part of the quarter-penny sales tax initiative, regional wastewater facilities will be built and improved. Although the quarter-penny sales tax helps fund the Water Authority's Capital Improvements Program, the wastewater projects are separate. They include:

• Pumping and power plant equipment
• Standby treatment units
• Outfall sewers
• Storage facilities
• Land acquisition for areas integral to the treatment process such as wetlands
• Improvements to facilities operated by the Clark County Water Reclamation District, City of Las Vegas and City of Henderson
