The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) created the H2O University youth education program as a way to educate tomorrow's leaders about water conservation and other water issues.
The program provides training and resources to teachers so they can help students learn how to protect our most precious natural resource: water.
The program's official Web site H2OUniversity.org offers online tools, resources, games and information to help SNWA's youth education program reach teachers, parents and students.
The Web site is separated into three age-appropriate sections for children in grades Kindergarten through high school. It also includes a section for parents and teachers as well as a library of resources, including videos and multimedia demonstrations.
