William E. Martin

President of the Water Conservation Coalition

Formerly chairman, president and CEO of Nevada State Bank and senior vice president with NSB's parent company Zions Bancorporation, William E. Martin was named the 2003 Distinguished Nevadan by the University and Community College Systems of Nevada and has served as an honorary commander of the Nellis Air Force Base Support Team since 2002. Martin also has served as president and CEO of Pioneer Citizens Bank of Nevada.

Honored as one Nevada Business Journal's "Most Respected CEOs" in 2001 and 2005, Martin currently serves as chairman of the Nevada State College Foundation, executive committee chairman for the Water Conservation Coalition and on the executive committee for the Clark County Public Education Foundation.

In addition, Martin serves on the advisory board for the School Community Partnership Program and as a member of the Council for Better Nevada and State of Nevada Economic Forum. A former chairman of the Board of Trustees in 1991, Martin remains a member of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.
