Enroll Online - Water Smart Landscapes Rebate

Follow these steps to enroll in the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) Water Smart Landscapes rebate.

Fill out the online application

Owners of single-family homes can enroll online by clicking on the "enroll now" button. (To request a printed application via the U.S. Mail, fill out an interest form.)

Multifamily, commercial and industrial property owners need to fill out a Business Interest Form. An SNWA Conservation specialist will contact you.

Rebates for well users are subject to the availability of special funds and limited to 2,500 square feet per calendar year.

Participate in pre-conversion site visit

After you submit your online application, SNWA will contact you to schedule an appointment to verify the status of your landscape. DO NOT begin your conversion or remove your lawn until you submit an application and take part in the pre-conversion site visit. Starting without SNWA approval will make your conversion ineligible.

The property owner must be present at the scheduled pre-conversion site visit in order to sign the contract to participate in the Water Smart Landscapes Program. If the property owner cannot be present at the site visit, a mail application can be requested by calling (702) 258-SAVE.

Convert your landscape

Once you've participated in the pre-conversion site visit and have been approved for the program, you can begin the landscape conversion. You have six months from the date of your site visit to complete your conversion.

Schedule a post-conversion site visit

When your landscape conversion is complete, contact the Water Smart Landscapes Program at (702) 862-3760. SNWA will schedule an appointment to measure your landscape and verify the conversion meets the program conditions.
