Water Smart Business Program

Program Conditions

As a Partner in Conservation through the Water Smart Business program, your business demonstrates its commitment to protecting and conserving Southern Nevada's water resources.

I affirm that our business/company/organization:

• Has no non-functional grass
• Has had no unresolved water waste violations in the past 18 months
• Is not a water intensive business

As a participant in the Water Smart Business Program, my organization is committed to conserving water by implementing or having already completed the following actions:

• Participating in an SNWA Water Smart Program (such as Water Smart Car Wash, Water Smart Landscaper, Water Smart Plumber or Water Upon Request) or
• Promoting conservation throughout the community and workplace or
• Complete a Water Efficient Technologies project or Water Smart Landscape conversion

Specific conservation support actions will be selected on the next page of this application

Authority Discretion

Notwithstanding satisfaction of eligibility conditions, SNWA retains discretion to reject or delay application approval if SNWA determines you do not meet membership requirements.

Communication

You authorize SNWA to communicate with you regarding your participation in the program; convey information about SNWA programs; and to share, at its discretion, via social media and print, highlights of your program participation.

Terms

1. This application is not intended by the parties to create any right in or benefit to parties other than SNWA and you. This application does not create any third-party beneficiary rights or causes of action;
2. this application contains the parties’ entire understanding of the contemplated transactions, notwithstanding any previous negotiations or agreements, oral or written, between the parties concerning all or any part of the subject matter hereof. All prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, representations and statements, oral or written, regarding this application’s subject matter are merged and integrated in this application;
3. to comply with all applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, codes, ordinances, and covenants pertaining to the project, the failure of which may result in any rebate forfeiture or SNWA postponing or declining the Application’s approval; and
4. that, except for single-family homes, SNWA may, at its sole discretion, submit your business to the appropriate municipality and, if the municipality indicates your business would violate applicable laws, SNWA may postpone or deny your application.
