Autumn Glow Muhly
Muhlenbergia lindheimeri 'Autumn Glow'
Southwestern native. Clumping ornamental grass. Upright, rounded habit. Light green to blue-green foliage. Long, fluffy, reddish-yellow plumes rise on stalks over the foliage. Plumes turn tan to silvery-gray as seeds mature. For best look cut down to around 3 to 5 inches above the ground in late winter or early spring. May brown out in summer if given insufficient water.
