Southwestern Native. Clumping ornamental grass. Rounded habit. Bright green, narrow foliage. Narrow, purple-tan flower spikes. Mature to golden-brown as seeds set. Turns partially or fully yellow in winter. For best look cut down to around 3 to 5 inches above the ground in late winter or early spring. May brown out in summer if given insufficient water.
