Cow Horn Agave
Agave bovicornuta
This Agave will tolerate poor soils and drought but requires excellent drainage. Plant will tend to yellow out if placed in hot sun, best to provide some afternoon shade. After 10 years or more, the plant produces a branched, 15-20 ft. flower stalk bearing yellowish green flowers.
