Mexican Grass Tree, Stick Palm, Toothless Sotol
Dasylirion longissimum

One of the very best accent plants, great architectural form used in containers or out in the landscape, displays wonderful shadows when illuminated by night lighting. This plant has flexible, smooth, leathery, needle-like leaves that are about 4' long. More friendly than Dasylirion wheeleri with its sharp edge teeth. Mature specimens will slowly develop a trunk to 10 feet tall. Provide good drainage to prevent base rot. Synonym: Dasylirion quadrangulatum.
