Winter Gold Emu Bush
Eremophila maculata 'Winter Gold'
A lush evergreen shrub with small, narrow, medium to dark green leaves. Produces masses of tubular yellow to cream flowers in late winter and early spring. Has an attractive natural shape, but also takes well to shearing. In fact it is desirable to shear in spring, usually in March, after the current year's bloom is finished as this will provide an improved flower display the following year. Attracts birds. Does best with good drainage. Few diseases and fungi attack eremophilas in the southwest. Give adequate water until established.
