English Ivy
Hedera helix
English Ivy is grown for the foliage. It is an evergreen climbing plant, growing where suitable surfaces (trees, cliffs, walls) are available, and also growing as ground cover where there are no vertical surfaces. It climbs by means of aerial rootlets which cling to the substrate. Better for smaller spaces than Algerian Ivy. Best with regular water. All parts of this plant are poisonous.
