Male only cultivar available. Develops surface roots in turf or shallow water situations. Invasive roots can crack and heave pipes, walls, pavement, and building foundations. Prune for shape. Self-prunes by dropping large branches. Good for soil stabilization and large scale windbreaks. Habitat for native birds and butterfly larvae. Susceptible to Texas root rot, cankers, and heart rot.
