Free flowering desert shrub that will attract attention in the landscape. Shrub holds flowers from spring through early fall. Cut back watering and fertilization in the fall to minimize frost damage. Foliage may be damage in the mid-20's but should recover quickly in spring. Prune in spring to shape and remove damaged foliage. You may find the more common Tecoma stans 'Gold Star' available in nurseries.
