Oval-shaped with a pointed tip, wavy margins, and often curved back toward the stem. Clusters of small pink-white flowers. Clusters of small red, hairy, sticky, flattened-oblong berries. Fruit is a food source for birds. Carried only on female plant. Good for natural hedges, screens, or background planting. Requires minimal pruning. Shearing can ruin the look of this plant. Some litter from leaf drop. Susceptible to verticillium wilt if overwatered.
