Vauquelinia corymbosa angustifolia

Large shrub or can be trained into a multi-trunk tree. A good nonpoisonous replacement plant for oleander. Narrow, dark green, leathery leaves with heavily serrated margins. Leaves are much narrower than other Vauquelinia, almost thread-like. Clusters of creamy white flowers mature to brittle dark brown seed heads. Best to prune in late fall or early winter. Remove spent seed heads and prune lightly for shape. Synonym: Vauquelinia angustifolia.
